Original edition July 1932. Book and jacket have several major flaws. Unclipped jacket has heavy wear many tears and losses but is 95% present. Pink stain to front leading edge transmitted from the boards which show evidence of colour bleed.There is a neat 4 line ink inscription to the front free end paper dated 1933. Extensive foxing is present on many pages The last plate is badly damaged it has a long tear that has been fixed for most of its length and has a small piece of archival tape to the back of the plate to prevent it re-tearing. The edges of the plate are badly worn having been protruding from the book and the edges eaten by insects. All of the plates have been re-glued back into the binding. Scarce 1st edition. Jacket is now in a new protective sleeve.
