Jacket is price clipped several small tears, small marks and scuffing. . Nice copy of a scarce 1st edition, 2nd impression that presents quite well . Remains of prize plate to front free endpaper. Shows 1948 date, which I note some dealers have used to attribute this as the 1st impression, but this is the 53 reprint. The true 1st edition has a different cover. Jacket is in a new loose protective sleeve.
