Jacket has small losses to edges, boys head coloured in on spine.Glued paper repairs to inside of jacket also very old and by appearance easily removed. Back flap of Jacket lists the William books at 2/6 ea with the last listed being Williams Crowded hours (1931). Book has a brown drink spill on 1 opening , gift inscription to front endpaper dated 1943, black & white frontis is present. The book has light foxing mostly to the compressed page edges at the rear but also present on a few pages. Jacket has now been placed in a loose protector. Newnes Bluebird Library printed circa 1932. Very scarce in Dustjacket.
