Would have been a superb copy of this book but a book exchange has stamped & written (in Texta) on the front endpaper and back board, and there is a price in Texta written obtrusively on the front panel of the jacket, sans these flaws a near fine copy. Still quite tight & tidy and a presentable copy of a scarcer title.

Book is set in 1862 just west of Pennsylvania with the trials of possible conflict with the Iroquois Indians and the French afflicting the small town of Camden
