The Lilac Book for Girls : Mona's Sake

Binding is worn, front free endpaper removed, front hinge exposed, many illustrations have been coloured in. Book contains colour plates. Name in ink to back of front board, Printed circa 1921 this book contains some very early (and very hard to find) work by Dorita Bruce and some Angela Brazil. By Dorita Bruce there is "Mona's Sake" one of her first short stories (Corner chipped from the first page of this story not affecting text) There is a colour plate associated with this story. There is also by Dorita Bruce "The Officer Commanding" - a story I am unfamiliar with. By Angela Brazil there are two non fiction pieces; "The Language of Flowers" and "Treasures of the Forest". Quite a large book over 600 grams
