Betty is one of my favourite authors, she wrote over 100 books for Mills & Boon (Harlequin Mills & Boon). Beautifully crafted stories of romance and life built around people who are, for the most part, easy to relate to and enjoy. My personal favourite is "Dearest Love", a sweet story of love which dawns slowly and grows into a deep and strong love. The ending is simply divine.
